What is the Plant Lab?
The University of Northern BC's Plant Lab is a faculty research laboratory led by Dr. Lisa Wood, Plant Biologist and Forester. This plant research laboratory houses state of the art equipment for microscopy, tree-ring measurement, plant cell quantification, densitometry, investigation of plant chemical make-up, and plant experimentation. Many graduate and undergraduate students make up the Plant Lab team. We provide an inclusive and supportive environment for student learning and collaboration.
UNBC is located in Prince George, BC, Canada. Within the spectacular landscape of northern British Columbia, UNBC is one of Canada’s best small universities. We have a passion for teaching, discovery, people, the environment, and the North.
